How it works

Five steps, from first conversation to arrival

Here is exactly what happens when you work with JOE Studies, and what we ask of you at each step.

  1. 1. Talk to us

Book a consultation. Tell us about your studies, your goals and your family situation.

Your first consultation is a conversation, not a sales pitch. We ask about your studies so far, what you want to do, when you want to start and what your family can realistically support.

    What to bring

    • Your latest results or transcripts
    • Your passport, if you have one
    • Any English test results
    • Your questions, and your parents' questions
  2. 2. Get an honest assessment

We review your academics, finances and documents, and tell you plainly where you stand.

We look at your grades, English level, finances and documents against what institutions and visa officers usually expect. Then we tell you plainly where you stand: ready to apply, ready after some work, or better suited to a different route.

  3. 3. Choose and apply

We shortlist suitable programmes with you and prepare a complete, accurate application.

We shortlist programmes that fit your grades, goals and budget, only at institutions we have checked. We help you prepare each application, keep track of deadlines and reply to requests from the institution.

  4. 4. Prepare your visa application

We help you prepare a complete, accurate application and make sure you understand what will be asked. For Canadian study permits, your application is prepared and filed by our immigration law partner, Havenstone Law. For other destinations, where the law requires a licensed representative, a qualified professional handles your file.

You stay responsible for the truth of everything in your application. We never create, change or “improve” documents.

  5. 5. Get ready to go

A pre-departure briefing on travel, accommodation, money and what to expect in your first weeks. If you want extra help after you land, you can add optional arrival support.

Before you leave, we brief you on travel, accommodation, money and what to expect in your first weeks. Optional arrival support is available if you want extra help after you land. We explain what it includes in your consultation.

Thinking beyond graduation?

Some students want to understand what options may exist after they finish their studies. That is a legal question, and it deserves advice from a qualified professional. Where it's relevant, we can introduce you to our immigration law partner, Havenstone Law, for independent advice.

Our promise to you

Before you trust anyone with your future, ask how they work.

This is how we work:

  1. No false guarantees. Nobody can promise you admission or a visa. Institutions and governments make those decisions, not agents. Anyone who guarantees them is not being honest with you.
  2. Only real, recognised institutions. We only recommend institutions and programmes we have checked.
  3. Clear terms before you commit. You will know exactly what we do for you, and what it costs, before you sign anything.
  4. Honest documents only. We never create, change or “improve” documents. False information can get you refused and banned from applying for years.
  5. Your information stays safe. Passports, bank statements and transcripts are stored securely. We only share them, with your consent, with the institutions and authorities you apply to.
